To assist there, we’ve researched how long you’ll get to return perfume, how to return it, how long it will take, and much more.

Let’s take a look…

In short, you are permitted to return most fragrances within 90 days of the purchase date for a full refund or exchange provided the return is still in a saleable condition.

However, there are some exceptions to this depending on the brand:

These brands are returnable within 30 days save for the items with a *, **, or *** next to them. For those items the return policy is as follows:

Bloomingdales doesn’t stipulate any particular reason you need to give to make a return, so provided the item is in saleable condition, you should be able to return it for pretty much any reason provided you’re in the return window we’ve covered above.

This means you can return fragrances to Bloomingdale’s for all manner of reasons including:

  • If it’s an unwanted gift
  • If you don’t like the smell

How to Return Perfume to Bloomingdale’s

If you purchased the fragrance at Bloomingdales.com, you can either return it using the mail-in returns process or by taking it back to your local Bloomingdale’s store.

To start the mail-in return process just follow the instructions over at their easy returns page. You will need to sign in or have a copy of your order number handy.

You will then be provided with a confirmation page and shipping return label to print off. You will then need to include the confirmation page and invoice with your return and attach the pre-paid label to the package.

However, you should note that you can’t return Bloomingdales.com purchases to Bloomingdale’s The Outlet stores.

The other option is to return your Bloomingdale’s purchase to a Bloomingdale’s brick-and-mortar store.

For purchases made at Bloomingdale’s brick-and-mortar stores, you can also return them for a full refund to the store you purchased the item from. In this situation, Bloomingdale’s asks you to contact them at 800-777-0000 for a return shipping label.

Make sure you don’t return items purchased in-store to Bloomingdales.com as your return won’t be accepted.

Also, you cannot exchange items bought at a brick-and-mortar store using the mail-in process, you can only secure a refund.
