Perhaps it’s not the weekend you’re planning for, perhaps you’re just feeling the squeeze as many people are in uncertain economic times.
If so, I should imagine an extra $200 in your back pocket would be very welcome.
You’re in luck as making $200 online isn’t as hard as it might sound! There are tons of creative ways to make money online.
In fact, it’s never been easier to make an extra $200 than it is today as there are so many different ways you can do it!
Let’s have a look at some of my favourite ways to make quick cash this month.
Provide Your Opinion for Cash
The most straight forward way to make cash online is to provide your opinion by doing online surveys.
You’re not going to be a millionaire by undertaking surveys for extra cash but that’s not the aim of this post.
If you want to make $200 with surveys then you need to sign up to the best ones as they don’t always provide the best opportunities every day so you need to sign up to a few to make the most of it.
My top-paying survey sites are:-
Survey Junkie – The only survey site with a 5⭐ Trust Pilot rating. Expect to earn around $10 an hour but I have heard of surveys up to $75 for their focus groups (i.e. in person or over the phone)!
Swagbucks– Again, expect to earn around $10 an hour but some surveys are up to $50
Inbox Dollars – Expect $3 – $6 per survey from this reputable company.
Put Yourself Forward for Market Research
Companies who are about to bring new products onto the market want to know how the market is going to respond when that products hits the shelves.
Will the product work? Is it appealing? Are there any defects?
Most importantly – will it sell?
For this information, companies are willing to pay top dollar!
If you are selected to provide your opinion in such way, it can be done in a variety of different ways:-
- You could have a telephone interview
- You might meet in person with the marketing team and other participants
- You might be asked to provide your opinion over Skype
- You might just be asked to complete an online questionnaire
You can expect around $50 – $500 for participating in these studies.
My two favourite companies are:-
Userlytics
Userlytics is an extremely cool website that pays you to test things like websites, games and apps.
When you sign up, you download a recording tool which records your actions and audio as you do the tests. You give feedback as you’re working your way through the task until it is complete.
Each test takes up to around 40 minutes but some are shorter and they pay around $10-$30 for each test with some paying as high as $90.
You will need a computer or mobile phone (which I am guessing you probably have) a long with the following:-
When you’ve done the tests you’ll be paid by Paypal within 15 days of the test being complete.
Play Games, Browse the Web and Watch Videos
Sounds too good to be true doesn’t it?
However, you can actually make spare cash doing just that.
You’re not going to make as much cash as the above but to get to your $200 goal, there’s nothing wrong with trying a few side hustles as every little helps.

Sell Your Unwanted Stuff
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure as the saying goes.
You’d be amazed at what you can put on the market and sell. Getting to $200 is not going to be that difficult unless you’re a complete anti-hoarder.
If you have children, it will be even easier as there is a massive market for second hand children’s clothes, toys and baby equipment.
I would recommend the following:-

Do Online Tasks
The best thing about working online is that the work is so accessible and the opportunities are varied, plentiful and are accessible to people with all manner of skills.

- Proofeading
- Designing flyers or pins for Pinterest
- Voice overs
- Logo design
- Translation
- Digital marketing
- Writing
- Music production/mastering

Exchange Your Old Cell Phone for Cash
A lot of people have old mobile phones knocking about that they no longer use. Most of these are just sat in a drawer gathering dust.
I have 3 such mobiles that I have simply been too lazy to sell. And I use the word “lazy” in the strongest terms as it is now so easy to get cash for old phones.

Obviously the amount you’ll get for an old phone will depend on its age, condition and model but most of the sites provide a free quote so you’re not in the dark before your sell.
Sign Up to New Bookies and Get Free Bets
One easy way of getting money is to sign up to bookmakers and use their free introductory bets they offer to new customers.
Unfortunately with most bookies you do have to put a certain amount in to redeem your free bets but if you sign up to enough bookies then there’s definitely an opportunity to make money.
I would recommend TheMidfield.com to check out what free bets are around in the USA.
Like with all normal betting, even taking advantage of the free bets isn’t risk free. As above, most of the time you have to put a bit in to get access to the free bet.
However, there is a way you can get around the risk and that is by “matched betting”, which is a risk free form of taking advantage of the free introductory offers bookmakers give to new (and sometimes old) customers.
Essentially matched betting works by putting on a back bet (a bet on a positive outcome) whilst at the same putting on a lay bet (a bet on a negative outcome).
For example you could bet $100 on a horse winning a race but you also lay that same horse off at the same time (i.e put a bet on it losing). If you are using your free bet to do this, then you cannot lose. If the horse wins, you win but if it loses you still win as you’ve laid it off.
It’s slightly more complicated than this by that is the general idea of how matched betting works.

Postmates
Postmates is a delivery service that anyone can sign up to. Essentially, you download the app and you can start picking up delivery gigs.
The app will tell you where there is a job is and you can then choose to accept it or not.
You’ll be delivering things like take out, groceries or drinks.
Once you’ve signed up through the app, you’ll receive a delivery bag through the post and you can get cracking.
My recommendation is to use a push bike rather than vehicle if you’re in the city as you’ll probably be able to get around quicker and you’ll get fit at the same time – bonus!
You can expect to earn up to around $20 an hour doing this. It’s a great side hustle if you don’t mind this type of thing.
Get $200 in Cash Back
You might not know it but you probably have an extra $200 a month that you could free up by being a little bit more savvy with how you spend money.
I am guilty of this just like the next person but it’s quite easy to make a mends with these two apps.
Rakuten – This application gives you cash back when you buy through it and the money soon racks up. It’s basically a way of clawring back money you were going to spend anyway. They even offer a $10 cash back signing up bonus.
Paribus – This app is particularly cool. Simply install it and it will scan your emails looking for things you’ve recently bought. When it notices something has dropped in price it secures you a refund for the difference.

Crowd Sourcing
Crowd sourcing is where companies use a wide number of people to get big jobs done quicker.
This might be things like like testing, completing surveys, translation, data processing and SEO.
The work can be quite boring so you’re probably best avoiding this if you like to feel engaged and motivated but if you want quick cash it’s not a bad shout.
I would try the following:-

Hopefully there are a few opportunities there that you can chew over. You might need to complete several of them to get to your $200 target but realistically it shouldn’t take you longer than a couple of weeks at most to get there if you put the effort in!
