Does Taco Bell Accept PayPal?: The Short Answer

tacos

Taco Bell does not accept PayPal directly.

You can’t transfer money to them to pay for your meal using the PayPal app.

However, there are ways you can use PayPal indirectly at Taco Bell and we shall look into these below.

How to Use PayPal at Taco Bell

The only way you can use PayPal at Taco Bell is by indirectly using it through the Google Pay or Samsung Pay apps.

You can usually set up PayPal in either Google Pay or Samsung Pay and present your mobile device to the cashier to pay.

However, we understand that PayPal doesn’t seem to work in Google Pay and Samsung Pay in all locations so this will depend on where you live in the world.

Unfortunately, Apple Pay does not support PayPal and therefore you cannot use Apple Pay with PayPal to purchase your food.

Does Taco Bell Accept Checks?

Unfortunately, Taco Bell does not take checks, so you will need to get your check cashed before you can use it to buy your food.

I absolutely love the check scanning system many banks are using now.

A lot of banks now provide a service within their banking apps where you can take a photograph of your check and upload it to the app.

The check is then cashed and the money goes into your account, usually the next day.

Genius!

Other Ways to Pay at Taco Bell

While PayPal isn’t well supported at Taco Bell, there’s plenty of other ways to pay.

Check out these other options:

  • Cash (in store and at the drive-thru)
  • Debit/credit card (in store, app and drive-thru)
  • Google Pay (in store, app and drive-thru)
  • Apple Pay (in store and drive-thru)
  • Samsung Pay (in store and drive-thru)

So there you have it, plenty of ways to pay for those tacos without using PayPal.

Bottom Line

It’s a shame that PayPal isn’t widely supported at Taco Bell, but we feel it’s only really a problem in the Taco Bell app as we do like that option when using food ordering applications.

However, in-store or at the drive-thru, we find the lack of PayPal support less of a problem due to the other payment options available.

We love Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay as mobile options to pay in store or at the drive-thru as they’re so convenient and effortless to use.
