1. Survey Junkie

I like Survey Junkie because it’s straight forward. You get what you see and that’s surveys.

They’re 100% focused on surveys so you know where you’re at with them and that makes them a lot easier to use.

They have over 5 million users so they must be doing something right!

They work on a simple points system and you only need 1000 points, which equates to $10, to withdraw your money. This is one of the lowest thresholds I’ve seen.

You can also withdraw your earnings via PayPal for ease of use!

Even filling out your profile gets you points!

You’ll earn up to $10 per survey but most are in the $2-3 region.

I have heard of people earning up to $18 per hour using Survey Junkie and even as high as $75 for one survey.

There are plenty of people on their TrustPilot page who have earned $50 in a week with them. That’s $200 a month for very little effort!

2. Swagbucks

Swagbucks is a great survey company to work with.

Their website is awesomely designed and very sleek. A real pleasure to navigate.

They work on a points system whereby you earn points for each survey you complete.

To mix it up a little, they also allow you to earn points by watching videos, playing quizzes and playing games.

Not so mind numbing after all?

You can also redeem your points for things like gift cards and Amazon vouchers.

You get a free bonus usually of $5 when you sign up but I’ve seen they’ve actually increased that to $10 for a limited time.

They have an excellent rating on TrustPilot so you know you can trust them. Here’s what one user had to say.

3. Prize Rebel

Another great survey company is Prize Rebel.

They allow you to make money fast by earning points that you can redeem for cash or gift cards.

They provide new surveys every day which is a huge bonus as some companies only provide limited surveys to complete.

Like others in this list you can also earn points by watching videos and by engaging with brands, which usually means buying products from a brand in exchange for points.

You can also test product samples and get points for doing so. Awesome!

4. InboxDollars

InboxDollars offers a number of ways you can make money online.

I’d expect to earn around $50 a month if you stick at it!

You can do this by:-

  • Completing surveys
  • Surfing the web
  • Reading emails
  • Playing games
  • Reviewing Products

They are therefore a very versatile survey company to use meaning you’re less likely to render yourself brain dead by spending some time with them.

Their website is a joy to use and they offer a $5 sign up bonus.

IT’S WORTH SIGNING UP JUST FOR THAT!

5. Vindale Research

Another fantastic survey company is Vindale Research.

You earn money by completing surveys and panels. The “panels” are basically third party companies that Vindale refers you to and you complete surveys for them instead.

A lot of “panels” provide opportunities to enter into prize draws which you are automatically entered into.

They do advertise that you can earn $75 per survey which are usually for products for you to review, which you can keep after!

Generally the more complicated the survey, the more you earn.

Their payments are usually higher than a lot of other survey companies so they’re definitely one to consider.

You generally earn around $1 to $2 for surveys that take around 5-10 minutes to finish.

Another bonus is that you get the cash rather than points so you know exactly where you are.

Like Swagbucks they also offer different ways of making money so you aren’t confined to battling your way through surveys alone and can find other more enjoyable ways to make extra cash.

6. Nielsen Application

There doesn’t get more passive than this app.

Simply download the Nielsen app onto your mobile and they’ll send you $50 a year.

That’s for each device too!

Does it get any easier?

7. Paid ViewPoint

Paid ViewPoint are another awesome survey company to join. They are in fact number one on the SurveyPolice website which is a dedicated site to reviewing survey companies.

PaidViewPoint have the best rating on SurveyPolice

Their surveys are easy to complete, they never screen you out to prevent you from taking a survey and their surveys are actually not as mind numbing at some others you’ll complete.

They pay out in cash via PayPal and also with gift cards like Amazon and Walmart.

8. TellWut

TellWut are quite unique in that a lot of their surveys are very short – like 30 seconds each.

You can complete the surveys TellWut provide or ones from external companies that often reward you with more points.

You can even create your own surveys and be rewarded for them if they’re decent.

Their point system looks like this:-

  • Answer a survey: 5-15 points
  • Create an approved public survey: 10-20 points
  • Answer an external survey: 25-2000 point

They pay out in gift cards from many of the major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Starbucks and Walmart.

9. MyPoints

As the name suggests MyPoints is a points based survey company who reward you on a points basis for completing surveys, watching videos and playing games.

They also provide access to hundreds of coupon offers for various companies.

The points that you earn can be used on various gift cards from many major brands like Amazon, Starbucks, Ebay, GAP and loads more.

They come well recommended on TrustPilot

10. CashKarma

CashKarma is different in that it works solely on your mobile phone rather than on a desktop. This is great though as it means the mobile experience is fluid and user friendly.

You earn points by completing surveys on the app.

You don’t always qualify for every survey but it has a great and fairly unique feature in that you are rewarded points if you fail to qualify for a number of surveys. I am not aware of any other company which offers this!

You also get bonuses for just checking into the app.

They pay out in cash and many different gift cards.

The points system is set up in such a way that if you wait longer and get more points, you can redeem more money/valuable gift cards than if you withdraw o r redeem earlier!

For example if you have 12,500 points you can withdraw $10 via PayPal, but if you wait until you have 50,000 points, you can withdraw $50.

11. Prolific

Prolific are quite an exciting survey company in that a lot the work you’ll be doing is scientific research for academics across the world.

As a result, you’ll be helping with important research topics like cancer research and dementia.

That’s a lot more self-gratifying than answering surveys about your gaming habits!

They are associated with many of the great educational institutes around the world like Harvard and Oxford University.

Your profile is used to screen which surveys you’ll qualify for, which saves times.

They pay out at least $6.50 per hour.

They pay via PayPal but you must ensure the email you use to sign up with is the same as the email associated with your PayPal account or you’ll be wonder where that hard earned cash has gone!
